Alternator Motor Cases for Harley-Davidson® Shovelhead Engines (1970 & Later)

Castings are produced in the permanent mold process using A356-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy. They are CNC machined to precise tolerances. Uses stock oil pump 1973–1984.

Technical Specs
Cases will accommodate strokes up to 5". All crankcases are now in our upgraded version and come with bearings, races, and studs installed. Cases are line lapped to standard size. All crankcases come with a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin. Non-upgraded cases are available by special order only.

D1002 Case Upgrade Standard Bore
comes with bearings, races and studs installed. Spigot bore is stock.

D1006 Case Upgrade/Big Bore
Same as D1002, except for a big bore 3.625" spigot.

D1010 Case Upgrade/Big Bore
Same as D1006, except for a big bore 3.8125" spigot.
